  I have been In-patient three times at Hackensack University Medical Center in the two years I have been in New Jersey and I could not be happier with my experiences there. As a bone marrow transplant patient, I have a suppressed immune system and all three times I came in through the emergency room, I was identified immediately as a cancer/transplant patient and placed in an appropriate area. My experiences up on the Transplant floor were wonderful. The doctors and nurses are attentive and so pleasant! They communicate with my other doctors and I always feel well cared for. The food isn’t bad, either!;-)

  It was a very scary time for me, being faced with a diagnosis of breast cancer. I loved how all the doctors worked together as a team to discuss my diagnosis and treatment needs. They gave me time to ask questions and provided me with the answers and referrals I needed from surgery to chemo to radiation and finally to reconstruction. The staff at the John Theurer Cancer Center is absolutely amazing! Thank you for all you have done for me during my journey to health and healing!
